After trailing Purdue in the first half, Kansas closed the half on a 22-7 and that momentum carried over into the second half. The Jayhawks’ explosive group of scorers were knocking down 3-pointers and skying high for dunks as Kansas looked every bit like a team capable of winning the national championship.

Devonte’ Graham and Frank Mason III each lit up the box score with a game-high 26 points for Kansas. Josh Jackson finished with 15.
Purdue struggled on offense as the Boilermakers had 16 turnovers in the loss. Caleb Swanigan led Purdue with 18 points.
