Premier League champions Manchester United has signed a deal with the African consumer finance company afb. The five year deal will see afb produce and market the club’s official credit card in Kenya.

The deal has been made as an effort to reach out to the 5.5 million United fans in Kenya. Several United merchandises such as signed shirts will be made available to the fans in the country. The fans can even win tickets to watch the club’s game live in Old Trafford.

Talking about the new deal, Richard Arnold, Manchester United group managing director said

“We are pleased to be partnering with afb as this will give our fans in Kenya another way to engage with their favourite team. “The club has always had fantastic support from our fans in Kenya and we are pleased to be able to offer them such a great product.”

Manchester United is one of the most famous clubs in the world and the club is expecting the fan base to grow even more.

“We are expecting a significant amount of fans to apply for the limited edition MUFC credit card in the coming months,” Arnold revealed.
